• II International “Go East” Summer School Prague – Szczecin: Border Regions in East Central Europe. Poland and Czech Republic. Szczecin, Liberec, Prague, September 15-29, 2013
  On 22 September, a group with the DAAD Go-East Summer School was guided by Mark Keck-Szajbel through the so-called Tree Country Triangle. Over the course of the excursion, which led through Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, students learned about the recent history of open borders after World War II, during communism, and in the European Union.

• Danziger Dialoge im 20. Jahrhundert. Deutsch-Polnische Sommerschule. Gdańsk, 6.-11.08.2013
  Gemeinsames Projekt der Europa-Universität Viadrina und der Universität Gdańsk. Die Sommerschule findet in der Form eines Seminars mit zwei Schwerpunkten statt:
