Demographischer Wandel in Polen, Deutschland und Europa. Geschichte, Verflechtungen und neue Forschungsperspektiven / Przemiany demograficzne w Polsce, Niemczech i Europie. Historia, powiązania i nowe perspektywy badawcze, Berlin 2014.

Demographic change is a major challenge for Poland and Germany. Catchwords such as the “aging of the population” and the "extinction in rural areas " shape the public debate. This volume presents unusual perspectives on the phenomenon. The history of the 20th century, the specific conditions of the Polish-German border region and the revision of stereotypical imaginations of aging contribute to a balanced discussion on demographic developments.

The book was supported from the European Regional Development Fund.
