PhD Topic:
Comparative analysis of war reports in polish and international media in last 50 years.

The main objective of my thesis is to illustrate the character and dynamics of medial creation due to differences in cultural narration. Study will include analysis of main trends in development of media and their role in the modern world. Confrontation of alternative concepts and initiatives will help to understand the specifics of media’s function in different political orders. In the thesis I will try to prove hypothesis that synergy and dualism in presenting war by polish and world media exemplify transformation of civilization during the last half of the century.

Biographical data: Since 2012 PhD Student at the European University Viadrina. Master Degree in History, major: Culture at the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland. Erasmus Student at University of Vienna, Austria. Internship at Senate’s Chancellery, Cultural Affairs in Berlin, Germany. 3-month business trip to Beijing, China, as part of cultural project.
