Since 2017, Anna Labentz is editor in chief of the academic platform Polish Studies Interdisciplinary (www.pol-int.org) at the Center for Interdisciplinary Polish Studies of the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder. From 2012 to 2017, she worked as research manager at the Center for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Berlin, where she coordinated the publication project “German-Polish Realms of Memory”.

She studied European Studies at the European University Viadrina (2009-2012) as well as Communication Studies and English/American Studies at the University of Bonn (2006-2009). In 2010, she studied Scandinavian Studies at the University of Oulu, Finland.

Furthermore, she works as freelance editor and translator from Polish and English to German and teaches German as a foreign language (DaF).
