The professional activity of Gero Lietz has been closely related to Poland for more than 20 years. He worked for ten years as a lecturer of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. In his research, he has focused on various topics concerning Poland and the Polish language. At the Center for Interdisciplinary Polish Studies he is in charge of editorial, translation and proofreading work, amongst others for the Center’s publication series.
